Hello all, I’m Yashika Shetty from Mangalore. I have been into modelling. This is my first ever project as an actress, and I was wondering if I will be able to do justice to the part I had to perform. I must mention that team “Matthe Meravanige” was constantly supportive, and they kept encouraging me every now and then. I am happy about the whole project, and I am heartily grateful to Kirik Troll through whom I received this opportunity. The entire project team was so hardworking, and they have ensured they put their heart and soul into creating this music video. My humble request to you all is to please watch the entire album song video and kindly support us, as we deeply regard your support as super precious to us! Thank you!
Thank you Yashika, I am sure your experience was wonderful with the team “Matthe Meravanige” and we wish you all the best for the grand release and also for all your future endeavors.
Hi Deekshith, could you please let us know a little about your background and a brief experience as a lead actor in this project?

Hello! I’m Deekshith from a place called Puttur, Sorake. My parents are Mr. Dinesh Kumar Sorake and Mrs. Raajeevi Sorake. I’m the second son of the family, the first being my brother Mr. Dheeraj Sorake. My interest towards the film industry was majorly influenced by my father, as he has been acting in various dramas, which I have seen from my childhood. When I was studying in pre university college, I met a few people who were also interested in the film industry, and we formed a team and created a short movie in Tulu language “Alegoskara”- which was for about 30 minutes and I had a part as the villian. Another short movie – “Badalavane”, Kannada Album song “Nee Saaguva Daari”, and one of our premium projects, produced by Mr. Shivaprasad B, became a huge hit - “Neene” which garnered almost 3 lakh views and a lot of appreciation from public for the audio and video performance. Along with back-to-back success stories, I would also like to mention that we had projects which did not perform as per our expectation. We had a new title for our next album song “Matthe Meravanige”, for which we had the song ready, but the story was not yet written. Mr. Bharath Tuluva helped us to create an engaging and apt story for the song, and we had our talented cameraman Rachin who has already been working with us for several projects, editor Hrithik whom we have known, and for the heroine of the song, we had searched for almost one week, and the funny part is for five whole days our producer with his friend was at the Puttur bus stand just looking for the right face for our project. Not only bus stands, wherever he went, even from hospitals we weren’t able to finalize the right actress for the story. We had also put-up ads for the role on social media, but again there wasn’t anyone who was well suited for the part. Finally, we found a profile which matched our expectations – it was Ms. Yashika Shetty, a model from Mangalore, who willingly accepted our offer. We also needed a comedian for a supportive role, and we got in touch with Mr. Manish Shetty, from Comedy Gang, Siddakatte who was a great addition to our team. Now came the most difficult part – since the song is all about a wedding ceremony, we had to find the crowd , atleast 50 people, we invited many, out of which a few came and some did not turn up. Anyway, we were able to manage atleast 40-45 people for the shooting. We were able to find a beautiful ancestral house in Puttur, “Gutthuda Illu” – Mr. Prasanna Rai was very helpful and supportive, and generously offered it for our project, although he had declined a few offers that came before us. Our team of 4-5 members – myself, our producer Mr. Shivaprasad, my friends Lingappa Sorake, Tejaksha Suvarna spent the whole night on the previous day of the shooting to decorate the house with flowers, to clean the yard and to give our location a beautiful look of the wedding venue. It was not an easy task decorating the huge house with flowers at night, and the fact that there was shooting the next early morning concerned us a lot. Yet we did our best and managed to put it all together well on time. We had assigned a team to create an open stage with decorations where the wedding would take place, and they did it the previous night. Also, the director mentioned we needed to add up some dry grass to the roof, so at around 5 am in the morning we were able to arrange for it as well and we were all set for the next phase of the project.

The next day we started our shooting process after prayers, and we also arranged refreshments for the people who came for the shooting. All in all, it wasn’t an easy task to get so many people on the set, even though many did not turn up, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all who came, and it all went very well at the end. Our main challenge was to finish the whole shooting process within one day and so without wasting any time we were able to speedily do all the scenes one after another as planned without any lag, and very less takes, and the result was beautiful. We all thoroughly enjoyed the whole shooting process and it was such fun to be a part of the team. Mr. Manish Shetty made sure that the whole set was filled with laughter through his comedy during the shooting process and everyone seemed happy.
So, everything done, now we are at the verge of releasing this song to you. The posters of the album song are beautifully designed by Mr. Ranjith Rai Belinja from Mangalore. My overall observation from the whole experience is that – everyone is a good actor. While a few may or may not get a chance to act, some prefer not choosing to act even if they get an opportunity, just because they want to be in the lead, and do not like to act for supporting roles. Without giving regard to it, one must accept and perform the role they receive in the best way possible, this attitude will definitely help them grow in the future. All actors in this music video have acted in a wonderful way and we hope for the best to come from this project!
This music video will be soon released on JustRoll Films YouTube channel, and we need our audience to watch the whole video and let us know through comments if you liked or disliked the video. We are open to know what our audience did not like, as we believe in continuous learning and improvements in our upcoming projects.
So, please watch “Matthe Meravanige” and enjoy! Thank you all.
Thank you, Mr. Deekshith, for your valuable inputs and for sharing your overall experience. We wish you and the entire team of "Matthe Meravanige" a grand success and all the very best for all your future projects in days to come!
